Mohit Lakhmani
Age 30 years
He is India's first unique 3D sculptor.
He lives in New Delhi, India
There are many artists who have shown tricks with paper in India but, Mohit is that one artist who creates 3D artistic work with just paper. It means that you can touch and feel his art.
It is even more difficult to believe that no other material except the paper is used to create it.
The first process is that a computer-generated image is created then colour it which is also called texturing. Then they open every single part of it in 2D form.
They have custom-made software for that after that they cut every part and paint it and manually stitch it for instance, if it is a human being like Barack Obama. They would need around 500 small pieces of paper to make it.
In Short, they create hi-tech designs with paper and he was inspired by the Japnese art of origami. Origami is a Japnese word derived from "ori" {folding} and "Kami" {paper}.
Origami is the art of folding paper in different ways to make creative things but Mohit's art is different.
He prints one image on multiple sheets and then combines these images to create a 3D model.
Today. he has a mansion, car even a tank bit they are all made of paper.
He has created a unique info-graphic resume using this art form
Just creating a 3D image won't make a difference he thought that 3D images that he creates should make sense and should be relatable.
If you look at these bars they have created heartbeats in it. The number of hearts in one set will tell us how fast your heart is beating and for whom.
His resume is so innovative that the Forbes magazines appreciated it. But, Mohit's real specialty is that he does all this for his love for art and his passion.
It is like a break for him it's like yoga he wishes to have a museum of his own just like Madame Tussauds wax museum where he can create statues using paper it will be the perfect blend of technology and humanness.
Technology can certainly be built a beautiful building but only an artist can give it life even if the art is pertaining to just paper.
Everyone dreams big but people who make efforts to achieve their dreams become successful.
