We know the benefits of a pomegranate. But, peeling a pomegranate is very difficult but you can take out the pomegranate seeds with ease using the machine now and an Indian has invented that.
Meet Mr. Uddhab Bharali from Laxhimpur, Assam who has more than 140 inventions and patents on his name.
Laxhimpur is a very backward place you can survive here only if you invent something new and innovations have become his profession now and he's successful.
Mr. Bharali who is 58 years old now was intelligent since childhood.
The teacher used to oust him from the class because he used to ask questions which were not in the books he used to ask questions on science.
Why is this so?
What's the use of it?
The teachers used to get irritated as he used to ask such questions.
According to Mr. Uddhab from 1990 to 2005 it was a struggling period for him. But, when he invented a cheap and affordable Paddle Pounder Machine for grinding rice after that NIF or National Innovation Foundation noticed his talent and promoted him as a grassroots innovator.
Then in the year 2006, he invented such a thing which created an uproar in the entire world.
So, Mr. Uddhab searched which machine the whole world is struggling for which no one has invented yet. So, he came to know about the pomegranate de-seeding machine even the USA is trying for the last 30 years. So he started thinking about it.
Let's see how this wonder machine works:-
His latest invention has helped many physically challenged people. The ones who don't have hands.Mr. Uddhab has given them a ray of hope by inventing a feeding and cleaning device for them.
Mr. Uddhab has made many people smile and their families are happy, too.
The one whom people used to rebuke his inventions proved to be boons for farmers, women, children and especially for differently-abled people. The specialty of Mr. Uddhab's inventions is that these are quite affordable and these need very less power because of his innovative madness, he won the President Grassroots Innovation award in 2009.
He won to create the Future Design Contest, too in 2012 and 2013 and this was an engineering design contest organized by NASA tech.

Let's see how this wonder machine works:-
- You need to cut the pomegranate in half and put it in the machine with the skin down.
- It falls on the rotating disk fixed at the bottom of the cylinder.
- The centrifugal force pushes the pomegranate towards the cylinder wall
- A ground pillar inside works as a hammer with which the pomegranate collides.
- The seeds get separated by the hammering and are collected down and the skin comes out from the waste outlet.
- Now, you can de-seed a pomegranate in a few seconds using this device.
