WORLD'S LARGEST FAMILY

It's the twenty-first century which we've progressed considerably!

But most of the families of lately area unit nuclear families. Even a family comprising of members hardly pay time together!

Just imagine what happens in an exceedingly massive joint family then.

Baktwang, Mizoram.

You must be thinking that it is a school canteen! or even a hostel mess! isn't it?

Let me tell you, you've got guessed it wrong!

The number of members this family has can exceed the amount of people exceeds in your apartment and if you divide the members of the family into groups for a football match there would be as several as sixteen groups.

This is Mr. Ziona Chana's family.

It includes181 members and what's stunning is that they stay beneath one roof  39 wives, 94 kids, 14 daughters-in-law, 33 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild conjure this superb family!

They confine an exceedingly 100 room house in Baktwang. No, Marvel, it's the most important house within the village!

Just imagine how challenging it is for so many people to stay under one roof!

Now, if the family is that this big, how can the culinary arrangements lag behind.

FOOD CONSUMPTION BY THE FAMILY:-

100 kgs rice, 60 kgs potato, and a complete of 39 chickens structure their meal for the day. This is far more than the number required for a nuclear family to survive for four to five months.

There is no negativity, everyone is pleased there are not any favorites.

All the 39 wives stick together, peacefully The family could also be huge but they work as a team while the lads do carpentry and manage the workshop, while the ladies do farming.

It won't be surprising if they need an accountant to keep a record of the important dates associated with the family members! isn't it?

They all leave as a family under one roof they do remember each other's names remembering the name is simply such as you remember your friend's names.

What they say is correct there is a charm in living together that can be a far better example than this family!

It proves how important family values are in India.

  • The number of rooms in this house - 100.
  • The total number of family members - 181.
  • Ziona Chana has 39 wives, 94 kids, 14 daughters-in-law, 33 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

INDIA'S NAIL ARTIST

I've brought you to Indore, a city in Madhya Pradesh.
To introduce you to an unusual artist.
I've seen a lot of Mother Mary and Jesus Christ's pictures but I've never seen a picture like this one look at it closely.

Yes, these are actually nails because the artist we've come to meet is India's only nail artist MR. WAJID KHAN.

In Wajid Khan's studio, you will not find paint, brushes, and pencils but hammers and nails because his way of working is different from everyone.

  • The main thing is that he doesn't sketch he doesn't do any marking he makes a portrait directly.
  • When he makes a portrait he puts the board on the floor and hammer it so he can't see the portrait either.
  • So, for three years he would wait to find out what he had made and how it looks.
  • If you hammer a nail in the wrong place the whole portrait would be spoiled.
His art is not limited to the nails he has made an amazing portrait of the famous Sri Lankan architect, "GEOFFREY BAWA" with stones.

When you look at the portrait from far it looks like a portrait when you go near, you realize that this is made using small and big stones it's three dimensional.

Making it from such a short distance near the eye and understanding the impact from the close-up this is a complicated thing which MR. WAJJID  has done very well.

Mr.Wajid is a perfectionist like a method actor he goes into the character completely to do justice with the portrait.

When he gets into the character he lives that person so he enjoys living that person than the hard work.
He gets the same clothes as that person he behaves in the same way his body language is the same he works in the same way at home.

OLD SHOES NEW SWAG

To watch the transformation of the old shoes you have to travel to Mumbai.

Local residents Shriyans and Ramesh Company Greensole is transforming old shoes into new ones.

Yes, guys OLD SHOES NEW SWAG.

Shriyans and Ramesh have run marathons and no one knows the value of shoes better than runners.

While running in Priyadarshini park, Shriyans came across Ramesh who had his old shows on and was re-using them. He approached Ramesh and suggested to him that they should take this further.

A competition for innovators was being held at the Jai Hind college they applied for that.
They entered the competition at EDI Ahmedabad where they got a very positive response within a month, they were on the top 30 innovators list.

From research, they found out that 35 crores pairs of shoes are discarded every year and they end up in landfills that turn into a mountain of the waste but the genius friends felt that these discard shoes can be reused and that was it.

AQUAPONICS FARM

Friends, what is required for agriculture?
Field means soil, water, sunlight, and manure isn't it.
If you plant a seed in the ground it will turn into a plant in days and trees in few years but what if I tell you that we don,y need fields for agriculture?

A vegetable can grow in water too and that too in a waterbody full of fishes don't be confused.

The plants you see here are growing above the fish tank not in soil and this technique is known as Aquaponics.

In Madhavi Farms in Bengaluru which is India's first and largest aquaponics farm.

Let me tell you why this method is important for the future:-

According to UN reports the population of the world will increase to 970 crores within 2050 and among that 170 crores will be in the Indian population will increase but the lands will remain the same.

We have no clue what will be the weather be like so it's will be wise to adopt this kind of farming.
considering the fact that it is so eco-supportive and nature friendly I believe that this is going to be the technology of the future.

Let me tell you to know how aquaponics farming is being done:-

  • The water of a fish tank becomes rich in ammonia with the fish water and this water is supplied to the plant's water tank.

  • After the plants absorb nutrients this cleaned water is again sent back to the fish tank and this cycle is repeated.

  • This technique is called Aquaponics.

Right now they have around 14 types of leafy greens and vegetables
They grow celery, basil, iceberg lettuce. oak leaf lettuce along with tomatoes, zucchini and brinjal are also grown here.

Now here are the advantages of aquaponics farming:-

  • Firstly in this method of farming, it uses 90 percent less water than conventional farming.
  • In this farm of 60.000 sq.ft, 200kg/day and 250ton/year of green vegetables are cultivated.
  • These plants grow 2-3 times faster then they do in soil.
  • compared with all other techniques in the world this technique yields more vegetables per square foot.
  • But this does not mean that it has lesser nutritional value.
  • These plants have between 30-40 percent higher nutritional content.
  • The other aspect is this is completely pesticide-free cultivation.

Also growing vegetables in water isn't new in India.

For ages, vegetables have been grown on Dal Lake's floating farms.

This is a farming technology wherein farmers don't have to depend on monsoon water is saved moreover, production rates will increase 30-40 percent.

This sustainable farming method will make the lives of vegetable farmers better.

  • The farm, located in Bengaluru is spread over 60,000 sq. ft.
  • The farm produces 50 varieties of vegetables, fruits, and herbs.
  • The annual production is around 250 tonnes.

WASTE TO WONDERS

Wow!
We see here the Taj Mahal.

The Eiffel Tower of  Paris.

The Great Pyramid of Giza of Egypt,

The Leaning Tower of Pisa of Italy.

Christ the Redeemer of Brazil.

The Statue of Liberty of America.

The world's largest amphitheater

The Coliseum of Rome!

You'll get to see the wonders of the world in our very own Delhi.

These OMG structures are made from scrap, which is waste material.

This waste to Wonder is OMG!

These beautiful surroundings don't seem like they used to be a landfill site once for the beautification of this site trees were planted here but it became even more special when SDMC (South Delhi Municipal Corporation) handed a project to an art specialist, Nitin Mehta to make these wonders of the world.

They asked them if they can make wonders of the world from the waste, they were given a timeline of six months.

when you see this, you see a complete structure but finding so much material of the same format is difficult.

They didn't ask for a specific material in bulk, they had the material in hand they had to put it to use.

OMG! this is truly difficult they faced many hurdles since it was a landfill site so making the base of the monument was extremely difficult.
Moreover, there were water pipelines at many places these pipelines were leaking they found them and got them closed.

Friends, a by-product of modernization is metal scrap which is recycled in many ways but turning scrap into art is an OMG solution.

Nitin had a small team and a huge task in hand but he didn't give up.
He worked 24/7 and made these wonders in just six months.

As you can see these are 1700 cycle rims.

This dome is a cross-section of pipes two inches pipes have been cut out and used to make the dome.

The shapes on the door are made using springs.

This is a milestone for the nation because you can use waste to make something beautiful, where people can come and spend a good time it makes not just Delhi but country famous.

This OMG Indian wonder park was inaugurated in February 2019 and the visitors that come here look at the wonders in amusement get excited and feel proud about that.

Not everyone in India gets to see the seven wonders of the world they can fulfill there wish here.
The wonders of the world made from junk can now be seen by Indians without a passport.
