Wow!
We see here the Taj Mahal.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa of Italy.

Christ the Redeemer of Brazil.

The Statue of Liberty of America.

The world's largest amphitheater

The Coliseum of Rome!

You'll get to see the wonders of the world in our very own Delhi.

These OMG structures are made from scrap, which is waste material.

This waste to Wonder is OMG!

These beautiful surroundings don't seem like they used to be a landfill site once for the beautification of this site trees were planted here but it became even more special when SDMC (South Delhi Municipal Corporation) handed a project to an art specialist, Nitin Mehta to make these wonders of the world.

They asked them if they can make wonders of the world from the waste, they were given a timeline of six months.

when you see this, you see a complete structure but finding so much material of the same format is difficult.

They didn't ask for a specific material in bulk, they had the material in hand they had to put it to use.

OMG! this is truly difficult they faced many hurdles since it was a landfill site so making the base of the monument was extremely difficult.
Moreover, there were water pipelines at many places these pipelines were leaking they found them and got them closed.

Friends, a by-product of modernization is metal scrap which is recycled in many ways but turning scrap into art is an OMG solution.

Nitin had a small team and a huge task in hand but he didn't give up.
He worked 24/7 and made these wonders in just six months.

As you can see these are 1700 cycle rims.

This dome is a cross-section of pipes two inches pipes have been cut out and used to make the dome.

The shapes on the door are made using springs.

This is a milestone for the nation because you can use waste to make something beautiful, where people can come and spend a good time it makes not just Delhi but country famous.

This OMG Indian wonder park was inaugurated in February 2019 and the visitors that come here look at the wonders in amusement get excited and feel proud about that.

Not everyone in India gets to see the seven wonders of the world they can fulfill there wish here.
The wonders of the world made from junk can now be seen by Indians without a passport.

  • 6.9 million tonnes of scrap was generated in India in 2018-19.
  • This park is completely reliant on solar power for electricity requirements.
  • 150 tonnes of metal scrap was used to make the wonders of the world.
  • These monuments have been designed by art specialists, Niten Mehta, and his team.
  • The park has been created on a landfill site in New Delhi.
