Jaipur, Rajasthan meet Mr. Surinder Kumar Apharya the one who wrote down something which got his name recorded not just a couple of times but seven times in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Mr. Surinder always wanted to do something different he got his idea while reading Guinness Book of World Records one day. While reading it, he realized what's he's capacity and capability.
So, he felt that this miniature writing is for him. He thought he can do it so he tried the same and by God's grace, he succeeds.
Mr. Surinder writes on a single grain of rice and he holds a world record of writing 1749 characters on a single grain.
By the way, miniature art began in the areas around Rajasthan first in the tenth century but when Mr. Surinder began the miniature art on rice grains he had to face a lot of troubles.
While writing on a grain he used to break or would lose it before he could realize it all his hard work would go in vain so he developed an obsession.
After holding rice grain with a needle he fine-tunes the thinnest brush and uses it.
The lens plays an important role too.
Mr. Surinder writes not only on rice grains but also on strands of hair.
"Yes! Human hair!"
He has tried writing on postage stamps too.
Mr. Nehru's three lectures and his thoughts that are an average-sized notebook's eighteen pages he has written all of it on a space of 19.6 mm by 17.8 mm of a postage stamp.
After writing on rice grains strands of hair and on postage stamps Mr. Surinder has created a world record that nobody has been able to break for 26 years now.
