CRICKET VILLAGE OF INDIA
In the state of Haryana, Gurugram is the village where there are more than 100 cricket grounds.
It takes 4 acres of land to build one cricket ground
This idea was introduced by Mr. Rishi Raj, he is a journalist and the son of Farmer.
In 2014 a farmer from Gurugram village took the initiative and started preparing the ground. Slowly many other farmers joined him. If we joined the total amount of ground present in the form of boundary then it's length will be from Delhi to Agra highway.
The players got the ground and the villagers got the job.
Yes! the ground's man, ground umpire, third umpire, commentator, scorer. All of them are from these villages only.
Due to this, its economy is bosted. This is the only place all over the world where there are so many grounds in one place. They have good facilities with the proper measured grounds. Each ground holds two matches on weekdays and 6 matches on weekends. You can book these stadiums at night also they have a proper arrangement of lights. The grounds have generated employment for more than 1000 villagers.
There are till now 400 professional cricket teams in and around Delhi that uses these grounds
